Record Your Live Album In Our Showcase Room!

     The Orion Showcase Studio is the perfect place for your band to record a live show.  The room features a stage with drum riser, a 1000 square foot space with full sound system featuring tri-amped stereo mains, 32 channel mixing console, 4 channel on-stage monitor mix, and lights.  Signals from the stage pass through a 24-channel transformer isolated splitter, sending a clean and independent 24-channel feed to a separate 32-channel recording console feeding 24 channels of 24-bit digital recording.  Tape or hard disk recording media are available.

     This is a complete turnkey system.  All you do is show up and play in front of up to 100 of your friends and fans.  All mics, stands, cables, etc. are included.  Use our sound and recording engineers or bring your own.  The room is also mic'ed so you can capture all the delirious crowd reaction that your music can conjure up.  The best thing is the price; an entire performance & recording package is available for as little as $600!

Touring Bands - Use Our Showcase Room As Your Base When in the Mid-Atlantic Region!

Touring bands like The Baja Men, SR71,  and others, have discovered that the Orion Studios Showcase room makes an excellent place to set up your "Home Base" when performing throughout the mid-Atlantic region.  Our near proximity to I-95 makes it easy to get just about anywhere up and down the east coast.  And we have plenty of room for you tour bus and equipment trucks.  The room is very secure and available the hours you need it.  Its a great place to break in that new drummer, work on new material, or just to relax while on the road. 

Nightly Rehearsals

If your band only needs an occasional rehearsal then the showcase room is just right for you!  Its a nice chill spot with lots of room, couches, refrigerator, and a small PA.  A nightly rehearsal block is 4 hours and runs just $60.  Additional hours available at $15 per.
